The CFE is a network cultivating an inclusive movement to promote healthy environments where no one gets sick because of exposure to toxic chemicals where they live, learn, work and play. Beyond Pesticides is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., that protects health and the environment with science, policy, and action to lead the transition to a world free of toxic pesticides.


The Alliance for Organic Integrity was established with the goal of ensuring, protecting and enhancing the quality and integrity of the organic guarantee being provided to consumers. It brings together key actors from the organic sector to explore and discuss the status of organic inspection and certification, with the aim of identifying deficiencies and developing an action plan to help tackle them.


Organic Voices works to spread awareness about the benefits of organic agriculture and food production. They aim to create a better understanding of what being organic really means, from environmental impact to health benefits.

The Alliance for Sustainability was created nearly 40 years ago by visionaries from around the world with a mission to co-create sustainability on a personal, organizational and planetary level. Building on their pioneering successes, the Alliance for Sustainability seeks to make sustainability mainstream through an open-hearted center of deep listening, empathy and collaboration.


The Childhood Cancer Prevention Initiative is a growing cross-sector collaboration aiming to reduce the use of toxic chemicals associated with cancers in spaces where children live, learn and play. The alliance includes members of the Cancer Free Economy Network that seek to confront the rising incidence of childhood cancer. The Childhood Cancer Prevention Initiative also publishes the Childhood Cancer: Cross-Sector Strategies for Prevention report.


Bye Bye Mattress is a mattress recycling program available in California, Connecticut and Rhode Island that helps people dispose of mattresses in a way that supports the community and the environment. The program is operated by the Mattress Recycling Council, a nonprofit that uses a recycling fee collected on each mattress and box spring sold to make recycling mattresses easier.

Breast Cancer Prevention Partners (BCPP) is a national organization working to eliminate toxic chemicals and other environmental exposures that lead to breast cancer. They work with communities impacted by environmental exposures linked to breast cancer, translate science into education and action, press businesses to make products safer, and help to pass health-protective laws.


Clean+Healthy advocates for a just and sustainable world free from toxic chemicals by working closely with communities, policymakers and organizations. They aim to eliminate harmful chemical exposure for a toxic-free future for all.


Humble Design furnishes homes for individuals and families emerging from homelessness. They transform empty spaces into personalized, welcoming homes, helping to restore dignity and long-term stability.


First Candle is dedicated to saving babies and supporting families by promoting safe sleep education and providing grief support for those impacted by Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) and other sleep-related infant deaths.


The 24-in-24 is a nonprofit endurance event where participants run one mile every hour for 24 hours to raise funds that grant wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses. The event benefits A Special Wish Foundation’s Cleveland chapter, bringing hope, joy and strength to families right here in our hometown.
