There’s a reason alpaca wool is one of the most in-demand fibers in the world. Once reserved for Incan royalty, it’s super functional and soft as cashmere. Alpaca wool contains bacteria-suppressing keratin, yet minimal levels of allergenic lanolin compared to other types of wool. This makes our alpaca duvet lightweight, lofty, luxurious and a great choice for little ones with allergies or sensitive skin.

Our alpaca wool is consciously shorn from alpacas reared in the highlands of Peru. By sourcing directly from a small array of Peruvian suppliers, we’re able to support sustainable practices and help bolster the local economy for communities of the Andes mountains. Our alpaca duvet insert comforter is spot-clean-only, but can be machine washed and dried in a worst-case scenario. It's encased with crisp cotton that won’t pill or shed when laundered should washing be absolutely necessary. Plus, the stitch-through box pattern maintains the distribution of the fill, keeping your kids duvet comfortable for many dream-filled nights ahead.
